Our Story
Steps away from Verbier's Place Central (Central Square), yet tucked away from the bustling village, Chalet "Le Deserteur" sits at the edge of the valley, overlooking the Val de Bagnes and mountains of Le Massif de Grand Combin and Massif du Mt Blanc.
The Chalet is the perfect base for Alpine adventures such as skiing, hiking, mountaineering and mountain biking.
The Chalet
Our family bought Chalet Le Deserteur from a local family in the year 2000. We left some of the traditional furnishings in place and added some couches and chairs from our grandparents who used to live nearby, creating a unique blend of comfort, authenticity and rusticity that have made us feel at home here for over 25 years. We upgraded the kitchen and some of the bathrooms, but kept things relatively simple.
Le Deserteur is perfect for people who love the mountains, and value a unique and beautiful home that blends mountain vibes with family hitsory. With that mindset you will love our Alpine Base Camp!

The views from Le Deserteur are special in every season. From the Combin de Corbassiere, to Le Rogneux, the Aiguille de Tour, and the iconic Catogne, you will find inspiration for your Alpine adventures right from the Chalet's balconies and large windows.
